Meet the Team
Our Technical Marketing Engineer Team is responsible for industrial routing and OT Security within critical infrastructure. Industries such as Utilities and Roadways leverage our industrial routing portfolio with advanced cybersecurity capabilities.
Your Impact
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:
Focus on existing and new hardware & software capabilities of Cisco Catalyst Industrial Routers (IOS-XE based) with advanced cybersecurity features, including next-generation firewall (NGFW).
Emphasize cyber resiliency to maintain network operations during degraded states, such as during a cybersecurity attack.
Concentrate on Catalyst SD-WAN Manager for unified WAN management and security for IT/OT networks.
Collaborate closely with Product Management, Development, Test Teams, Customers, and Partners.
Drive adoption through internal and external training, demos, and collateral creation.
Communicate the highlights of the industrial security solution at conferences and Executive Briefings, focusing on Utilities and Roadways.
Provide technical responses to the Sales Team and Partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years security and networking.
3+ years industrial routing and cellular technologies like 5G & public/private LTE.
1+ years experience access control policy
3+ years IT/OT networks and Industrial IoT solutions.
Bachelors + 3 years of related experience, Masters + 3 years of related experience, or 10+ equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with routing, cybersecurity, and automation.
Proficiency in network & security technologies such as OSPF, BGP, VRF, DNS, NAT, NGFW, VPN, IPsec, IDS/IPS, and network topologies.
Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Manager for IR deployment, configuration, management, and unifying security policies.
Experience in main industrial vertical markets.
Ability to work with internal/external customers, channel partners, sales, or systems engineering.
