The Services Supply Chain Platform Manager is responsible for driving the service parts strategy definition & deployment to optimize availability and costs for Cepheid. As this role sits at the nexus of supply chain, customer care & NPD, it provides a great opportunity to both learn Cepheid’s instrument portfolio and build relationships across these orgs.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead the development of the services product strategy for instrument operations: identification of the assemblies / parts to stock and refurbish (taking into account reliability data, service support effort and supply chain costs), coordination of the part setup (following Cepheid’s SOP for development processes – D0326) and deployment with service logistics and customer care

  • Collaborate with / lead customer care, order management, service logistics and operations to ensure that the returns process has been effectively setup “end to end” to ensure efficient flow of material from customers back to final destination (Cepheid / supply chain partners for refurbishment or e-waste disposal)

  • Manage the product lifecycle of service FRU’s in coordination with global product management, category business management, customer care and services operations

  • Support peer platform managers in the definition and setup of the service supply chain and FRU’s to support the new products they are leading thru development

  • Serve as single point of contact within instrument Ops on the services supply chain FRU & refurbishment portfolio strategy. Where required, lead the development of new business processes / capabilities, to support Instrument Ops goals

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required, Master's Degree is preferred in Engineering discipline with multiple years of related work experience

  • Technical program management experience with either healthcare electro-mechanical products or product with a similar level of component complexity in another industry.

  • Successful track record creating, documenting and standardizing process

  • Experience leading cross functional change to drive the development & adoption of new processes

  • Highly effective communication and presentation skills

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Agile, SAP, The Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Power Point, Word) and PowerBI

  • Ability to read and interpret product Bill of Materials (BOM's)

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $120 - $210K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
