Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Litigation Paralegal in San Francisco, California. The role involves significant responsibility, working with court clerks, vendors, and senior attorneys. The Paralegal will be a key part of our team, navigating the complexities of litigation and ensuring smooth operation of legal proceedings.

Responsibilities:

• Interface with court clerks, vendors, and senior attorneys to ensure efficient legal proceedings

• Command Electronic Court Filing (ECF) and e-filings to maintain seamless digital record keeping

• Utilize Electronic Discovery (eDiscovery) tools such as Everlaw or Relativity for effective information management

• Adhere to the principles of a paperless office driven by cloud-based services

• Use case management software for efficient handling of legal cases

• Employ LexisNexis for comprehensive legal research

• Use Microsoft Excel for data management and organization

• Handle billing functions to ensure accurate financial records

• Manage calendar for effective scheduling and time management

• Administer claims and handle complaints to resolve client issues

• Utilize Blue Book for legal citation

• Manage Adobe Acrobat for document handling and processing.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Paralegal.

• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, LexisNexis, and Management System.

• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, Billing Functions, Briefing, and Calendar Management.

• Experience in Claim Administration, Complaint Handling, CM/ECF, Blue Book, Bluebooking, and Ediscovery.

• Strong ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

• Knowledge of legal terminology, regulations, and court system.

• Demonstrated ability to perform legal research and drafting legal documents.

• Proven experience in managing and maintaining databases and tracking systems.

• Ability to interact with clients in a professional and respectful manner.
