I have teamed up with a growth-oriented Real Estate Investment Firm in San Francisco, and they are looking for a dynamic and technical Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller to join their Fund Management and Investor Reporting team. This firm's culture is strong, and this role will have the opportunity to work collaboratively across the organization with multiple departments. The team is well supported by consistent and dependable management, and established policies and procedures, though they bring an entrepreneurial mindset to everything they do.

Hybrid schedule 3x/week in downtown San Francisco in gorgeous new office space and close to public transportation. This is a brand-new role as the team is growing quickly. Cash compensation is competitive and full-package offer is excellent.

Role:

• Support the Accounting Team on the monthly, quarterly and annual close, including the preparation of financial reports.

• Investment account roll up and reconciliations for consolidation and investor reporting.

• Prepare financial packages for Audit and Tax external partners, functioning as the main liaison between the firm and 3rd party.

• Work closely with Development and Property Accounting, Investment Teams, Portfolio Managers, Executives and more on special projects.

  Requirements

What you'll bring:

• BA / BS degree in Business Administration or Accounting required.

• A minimum of 5+ years of Accounting experience required.

• A perspective and passion for real estate and growth in your career.

• Previous accounting experience in Real Estate (Commercial or Residential), Private Equity, Venture Capital or financial services.

• Strong Background in Partnership and/or Fund Accounting.

• Nice to have: Juniper Square experience.

• Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment.
