QuantalRF Executive VP Sales and Business Development in San Diego or Newport Beach, California

We have an exciting opportunity to lead and build our sales and business development team. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Vice President of Sales is a self-starter who provides leadership in the organization and is accountable for business development and sales effort. In this role you will create programs and initiatives to drive our diversification business with front line sales, business development and marketing activities.

As the Executive Vice President of Sales, in the RF Front-end semiconductor industry, you will be responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share within the company. 

The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong background in semiconductor sales, particularly in the RF Front-end market. Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills are essential, along with a proven track record of driving sales growth and fostering business relationships. A combination of technical knowledge and sales acumen will be key to success in this role.

The Executive Vice President will play a crucial role in driving product development and innovation by providing valuable insights and feedback from the market. Additionally, this role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing to ensure alignment and integration of sales efforts with product strategies.

As an executive leader in the organization, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration within the sales team. This includes setting clear expectations, establishing key performance indicators, and driving a results-oriented mindset to achieve sales targets and profitability goals.

Moreover, the Executive VP of Sales will be expected to stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics to anticipate market shifts and capitalize on new opportunities. Strategic vision and ability to adapt to changing market conditions will be instrumental in positioning the company as a leader in the RF Front-end semiconductor space.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase new prospects and pipeline management, achieving revenue forecasts in line with company goals.

  • Develop Marketing framework and programs to help position our technology and products above all others.

  • Identify short-term and long-term business development strategies and prioritize the creation of deep collaboration and trust with partners and customers in the field.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership in engineering, product management, CEO and Board of Directors to create and package high value product messaging

  • Establish & lead a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to drive performance and exceed sales targets.

  • Build and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.  Drive and oversee global sales and all commercial relationships, including distributors and outsourced manufacturing services. 

  • Analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

  • Develop effective differentiators and negotiation strategies and understands all key commercial and legal issues.

  • Monitor sales performance and KPIs, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence within the sales function.

  • Represent QuantalRF at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and market presence.

  • Provide regular reports and updates to the CEO and board of directors on sales performance, market trends, and competitive landscape.
