Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for numbers and financial analysis? Robert Half is currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting the financial operations of our clients by assisting with various accounting tasks. Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations.

• Perform general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and analyzing financial data.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial analysis and decision-making processes.

• Assist with audit preparation and provide support to auditors as needed.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

• Previous experience in accounting or finance roles preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data accurately.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.

Duration and Compensation:

This is a contract-to-hire position through Robert Half with an expected duration of 3-6 months. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
