MITRE’s Naval C4I & Space Department delivers innovative engineering technologies, concepts, and methodologies and performs research and development designed to address our Naval sponsors’ hardest challenges. We aim to provide the U.S. Navy and its Partners with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, & Intelligence (C4I) and Space capabilities to operate in all domains. Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive visitors to the office; check clearances, sign in, and badging.

  • Receive and track all incoming FedEx, USPS, UPS and Amazon packages.

  • Coordinate process of departing employees, including return of badges, CAC cards, and return of equipment.

  • Coordinate catering for meetings.

  • Work with leadership to schedule interviews for potential new hires; coordinate new hire office space setup and on-boarding activities.

  • Maintain and order office and food/beverage supply as needed, receive deliveries, maintain office equipment.

  • Assist with maintenance of Department SharePoint and Teams sites.

  • Coordinate Department social events.

  • Manage reservations for conference rooms / secure spaces.

  • Manage draft Quarterly Progress Reports routing and review process, distribute to sponsors.

  • Maintain and update site Emergency Phone Tree, Emergency Action Plan (EAP), and Site Operations Coordinator / Site Admin Reference Manual.

  • Interface / liaison with building landlord.

  • Interface / liaison with corporate Help Desk for site infrastructure IT issues.

  • Manage site property, capital equipment, building services needed in site spaces.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 1 - 2 years of related experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent in education, or equivalent combination of high school courses and related work experience.

  • Ability to obtain a US Government issued Secret level Security Clearance

  • Expertise in Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and Word).

  • Persistent approach to follow-up on tasks, with suburb attention to detail.

  • Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills to build strong external and internal networks and highly effective relationships with team members, business leaders, and sponsors.

  • Strong self-organization, problem-solving, and time management skills, with considerable emphasis on self-initiation and independent decision making. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously and manage competing priorities with minimum supervision under deadline pressure in complex, fast-paced environments.

  • This position requires an on-site presence of 5 days a week.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in relevant discipline

  • 5+ years relevant experience

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Experience in Concur or other travel planning systems.

  • Experience in project management tools (TRS, Clarity, and Workday).

Salary compensation range and midpoint:

$50,500 - $63,000 - $75,500 Annual
