BAE Systems Senior Contract Administrator in San Diego, California

Job Description

Our commercial software business team provides mission critical capabilities across a growing and diverse portfolio of customers including; the DOD, Intelligence Community, First Responders, as well as International customers. As a member of the Contracts team for one of the leading companies in Geospatial Intelligence, you will be offered a motivating, professional, and unique chance to work across a broad range of contracting activities in support of the Advanced GEOINT Systems (AGS) Product Line of the BAE Systems Electronic Systems Sector.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Cross functional collaboration with Sales, Professional Services, Product Development, Finance and Export.

  • Providing guidance on international, government and commercial contracting methods for commercial software products and services while protecting our commercial Intellectual Property.

  • Working with internal and external customers to shape and close business opportunities aligned with internal objectives. Work products and interactions will be at multiple levels, from your program office team to executive leadership.

  • The selected individual will be required to process a high-volume of contracts, with assurance of consistency and compliance.

  • Primary point of contact between the company and customer for contractual matters. Draft, prepare, and execute certain internal and external correspondence, NDAs, and other contractual matters with increasing levels of autonomy.

Pay Information:

Salary Range:$76.450 - $130,020

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Fundamental skills for coordinating and managing moderately complex proposals, contracts and purchase orders involving limited financial considerations or technical significance.

  • A general understanding of government contracting.

  • Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience

  • Communicates effectively both orally and in writing

  • Exhibits sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel and customers

  • Strong computer skills for data entry, reports and other documents

  • Makes decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable federal laws and regulations

  • Demonstrated ability to focus on closure and get results

  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude is a must!

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience with FAR Part 12 and COTS product sales to the US Government

  • Experience with Salesforce

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $76450 - $130020
