Scripps Health RN Specialized - Plastic Surgery - Per Diem - Del Mar in San Diego, California
*This is a per diem/casual position generally working 8am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5pm on varied days. Required to float between Scripps Clinics in Rancho Bernardo and Del Mar. Training will be full time hours for the first few weeks. *

Your job duties:
- Perform pre-op assessments, post-op follow up, wound care, consultations both medical and cosmetic and assist with in-office procedures.
Contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice.
Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
Provides direct patient care to high acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice.
Engages in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting.
Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Qualifications:
- Current California RN license
- American Heart Association BLS
- At least one year RN working experience
- Must be patient centered, flexible and team oriented
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three or more years of outpatient surgical and/or plastic surgery experience as an RN
- Sterile field experience (circulating/scrubbing), or cosmetic/plastic surgery experience
