Insight Global Risk Manager in San Diego, California

Job Description

An employer in the San Diego area is seeking a Risk Manager capable of identifying, assessing and evaluating potential risks that may hinder the organization's objectives. This individual will develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to minimize the impact of potential risks. They will coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and standards utilizing basic risk management principles, inclusive of the following:

  1. Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures

  2. Analyze and evaluate potential risks and hazards, and develop strategies to mitigate them

  3. Conduct risk assessments and identify areas of potential risk

  4. Develop and implement risk mitigation plans and ensure timely implementation

  5. Collaborate with other departments to identify and manage risks associated with their activities

  6. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to risk management

  7. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk management strategies and plans

  8. Provide training and support to staff on risk management best practices

  9. Stay current with emerging trends and developments in risk management

Skills and Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with strategic risk assessment.

  • Experience with regulatory compliance procedures.

  • Strong communication skills across various stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Active secret clearance.

  • Willingness to work onsite full-time. null
