JOB SUMMARY:

This position conducts needs analysis and facilitates training of technology and computer applications for the Revenue Cycle and throughout the hospital in order to ensure that organizational technology and Revenue Cycle training needs are addressed. Provides design, development of training materials. Is software certified, maintains certification/proficiency in appropriate technology(s)/application(s); includes high-level of skills in planning and analysis. This position works closely with other Trainers, Instructional Designers/CBT Developer, CIS, IS, and other hospital staff in corresponding departments and clinics. Collaborates with others to ensure that mechanisms are in place to maintain effective technology training based on identified needs and priorities. The Rev Cycle Training Manager position is responsible for the support and implementation of IS and related Revenue Cycle projects within the department and the organization. Assigned projects range in scope from facilitation of on-going programs to specific, targeted program review plan logistics of events, to create and/or edit correspondence, establish, maintain and revise record keeping/filing systems, be available for on-site events/programs, support staff with program registration, offers ideas to enhance programs. The Revenue Cycle Training Manager iss responsible for managing the Patient Access Trainer and related new-hire and annual competency training activities for Patient Access Admitting, registration and scheduling. The Revenue Cycle training manager is also responsible for managing the team of Patient Access Quality Assurance Specialists, who have primary responsibility for auditing the registration data accuracy results for the hospital and medical practice foundation, as well as responsibility for resolution of registration-related errors at the root cause of billing delays and denials.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in an area of study related to the position

3 Years of Experience

EPIC Certified in appropriate environments

Ability to accurately speak, read, write, and understand English

Skill in advanced administrative procedures/practices to include advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and educational development software

Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks and workflow, work independently while collaborating with internal and external customers

Works collaboratively with a variety of internal and external customers (i.e. staff, peers, managers, medical staff, community groups, affiliated facilities)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

5 Years of Experience

Knowledge or experience in clinical/business operations

1 year of management experience

The expected hiring range for this position is $39.51 to $54.33
