The Care Continuum Account Executive (IVF and ISD) is responsible for the growth of the IV Fluids and Infusions Specialty Disposables product lines in the non-acute markets in their assigned regions and national accounts. This position is expected to implement strategies that will lead to sales goal achievement in the U.S. Region. This position reports to the Director of Sales in the IV Fluids business and is expected to work closely with other internal cross-functional teams and external strategic distributor partners.

This position will collaborate with appropriate personnel across divisions and at external entities. The Care Continuum Account Executive (IVF and ISD), is expected to participate in deal execution, lead due diligence, and may serve as the principal negotiator and executor of deals. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a team oriented, fast paced environment, with a high sense of urgency & accountability and also lead teams without direct reports.

Territory - Western third of the United States. Candidates must live in the Sandiego, Sacremento or Dallas metro areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Interfaces and collaborates with BDX Sales & Strategic teams to uncover and close IVF and ISD opportunities in the non-acute market

  • Works with large, national non-acute customers and distributors

  • Reports directly to the ISD and IV Fluids West Area Director of Sales; provides leadership and guidance to sales executives and professional staff

  • Implements comprehensive strategies to exceed regional sales objectives and drive adoption of product across BDX

  • Creates and implements effective strategies to develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline

  • Develops valuable solutions that meet customer business needs and shares key findings with others

  • Develops broad influence through a robust set of internal/external relationships across the organization; promotes win-win outcomes within, among and across teams, using the diverse perspectives of others to achieve results

  • Role models BD’s high ethical standards and code of conduct

  • Inspires others to exceed expectations and objectives daily through own attitude, energy & effort

  • Anticipates internal/external business issues to align priorities, strategies, and tactics

  • Develops relationships with key internal/external customers to exceed sales objectives and to identify emerging needs and business challenges

Qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree required, graduate degree a plus

  • Minimum 2 years sales experience; health care sales preferred

  • Ability to travel 50% - 75% of time (based on where candidate is located)

  • Excellent planning, forecasting, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • High accountability, ownership, and sense of urgency a must

Salary ranges have been implemented to reward associates fairly and competitively, as well as to support recognition of associates’ progress, ranging from entry level to experts in their field, and talent mobility. There are many factors, such as location, that contribute to the range displayed. The salary offered to a successful candidate is based on experience, education, skills, and actual work location. Salary ranges may vary for Field-based and Remote roles. ​

$107,500.00 - 177,300.00 USD Annual Base + Incentive
