We are looking for a Business Program Manager in San Diego, CA.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for cross-functional business initiatives.
Responsible to plan and manage the work of projects/programs, related teams or individuals on cross-functional business initiatives, programs and projects.
Collaborates with business units to develop solution roadmaps through business programs.
Develop and utilize strong working relationships to ensure thorough and effective management of assigned initiatives.
Responsible for the delivery of strategic business programs and projects, by leading multidisciplinary project/program teams and delivering against timelines.
Directly interacts with senior business line leadership and teams.
Collaborates with the Business Line Sponsors and managers for delivery of solutions that supports various affiliate /divisional/corporate initiatives.
Directs/ facilitates the definition of program/project scope, defines project tasks and resource requirements to ensure projects/programs are delivered on time, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
Develops and maintains Programs; including schedule & resource planning .
Directs financial accountability for program budgets.
Responsible for managing and overseeing program deliverables and interdependencies.
Responsible for tracking, analyzing and trending strategic program and project results to provide effective solutions to issues and problems.
Functions as a single point of contact for programs and associated projects across all impacted areas.
Assesses and mitigates risk, monitors and reports on progress of the program and associated projects to management and stakeholders.
Presents reports defining progress, problems and solutions.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's in Business Administration, Finance or a related field and 4+ years of experience with small to medium programs/projects, program management processes, methodologies and tools, resource and change management practices and techniques or other directly related experience.
Leadership experience preferred. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements
Extensive knowledge of program/project management, including methodologies, processes, tools, scope management, financial tracking, scheduling and resource management.
Extensive knowledge of solution identification, assessment and creation of business and financial cases.
Strong strategic planning, risk management and change management skills.
Must have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to identify, analyze and resolve issues.
Ability to meet deadlines, schedules and budgeted costs.
Strong negotiation and facilitation abilities.
Ability to anticipate, create and manage change.
Ability to work with various levels of employees and managers across business lines.
Working knowledge of departmental specific processes, computer applications or other project related knowledge.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $106,000 - $118,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
