Overview

  • Responsible for the overall process, documentation, vendor management, and the tools of the credit and collections operations group.

  • The Project Manager role is to manage and ensure the smooth integration or execution of initiatives and projects for the Credit and Collections team.

  • The Project Manager must support the relationship and management of various vendors such as Latitude and LiveVox including, but not limited to, the system set up, maintenance, and realignment, as well as allow for efficient use of all organizational effectiveness and maximum performance.

  • Collaborate on process documentation and actively contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.

  • In addition, this role requires an understanding and effective engagement of other departments across the organization.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • The Project Manager role is to manage and ensure the smooth integration or execution of initiatives and projects for the Credit and Collections team.

  • Ensures system implementation of credit products is smooth and does not impact ongoing operations.

  • Responsible for the decision platform management program.

  • Develops and maintains process flow interaction within the credit group.

  • Supports management of outside vendors to ensure proper performance and contract adherence.

  • Must participate in the Due Diligence process for future projects for the Credit group.

  • Able to monitor project performance and provide timely feedback to encourage improvement and recognize accomplishments.

  • Develop, document, and refine operational processes, while leading process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and workflow.

  • Ability to identify productivity issues and trends as well as create and implement solutions to identified problems.

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 3+ years of project management experience.

  • Project Manager certification preferred, i.e., PMP, CAPM, CSM, CompTIA Project, PRINCE2, CPMP, APM, PPM, Six-Sigma, or similar certification.

  • Six-Sigma, Lean Enterprise, or Continuous Improvement experience is a plus, but not essential.

  • Two or more years experience in the contact center industry, BPO, or credit operations preferred knowledge of collections operations, ideal.

  • Advanced usage of project management tools preferred is a plus but not essential.

Skills & Abilities

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft suite of products Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio, and others.

  • Strong business and technical writing skills – ability to independently produce high-quality business memoranda and technical documents.

  • Ability to develop and perform analysis that addresses concerns and issues, and ability to present them to management and external auditors with a clear and concise approach.

  • Ability to manage complex processes and deliver results within compressed timelines.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all levels of management.

  • Ability to develop partnerships across multiple businesses and functional areas.

  • Ability to communicate and present issues and recommendations to senior and middle management.

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills - able to communicate with all levels of management; can present credibly to both large and small groups.

  • Work well independently as well as in a team environment.

Working Conditions

  • Work is performed in an office (call center) environment.

  • May require prolonged periods of sitting/standing.
