Job Brief The Transportation Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data related to transportation operations to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

What You'll Do We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Transportation Analyst to join our team. The Transportation Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data related to transportation operations to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation logistics, data analysis, and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: Data Collection: Assist in collecting and organizing data related to transportation operations, including shipment volumes, routes, carrier performance, and other relevant metrics. Data Analysis: Support transportation data analysis efforts by performing basic statistical analysis, data cleansing, and data visualization tasks under the guidance of senior analysts. Reporting: Help prepare regular reports and presentations summarizing transportation performance, key insights, and recommendations for management review. Support Projects: Assist in various transportation projects such as route optimization, carrier selection, RFP analysis, location validation and cost-saving initiatives by conducting research, gathering data, and providing analytical support. Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to transportation data, analysis methodologies, and project activities. What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalate work experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools. Experience in manipulating and analyzing large datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends. Ability to create clear and visually appealing data visualizations to communicate findings effectively. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance with regulations. Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player

Preferred: Familiarity with other data analysis software such as SQL, Python, R, or business intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI. Previous experience in transportation, logistics, or freight management, with knowledge of SAP transaction processes.
