Job Summary

We are seeking a visionary Student Engagement Program Manager who celebrates and propels the student journey. Your mission: to craft and share the narrative of our vibrant academic community, showcasing how our programs and resources are essential stepping stones to student retention, graduation, and long-term success.

Responsibilities

The Student Engagement Program Manager will produce polished photo, video and social media content, have strong storytelling skills, and a comprehensive knowledge of marketing best practices.

Video

  • Oversee a video projects’ entire life-cycle, from concept through production, post, review, and launch phases

  • Gather, organizes and coordinates materials needed to create marketing videos

  • Write drafts of scripts for audio or video production

  • Collaborate with other teams across campus to help shape video concepts and deliver on project deadlines

  • Manage video asset library

Social Media

  • Promote the brands of units within Undergraduate Studies through various social media channels

  • Develop daily workflow for monitoring, amplifying, sharing, and cultivating content

  • Engage in brainstorming and team meetings to generate ideas for promoting events, initiatives, and the international activity of the U via social media

  • Independently create content for and publish social posts using a scheduling tool, monitoring for and encouraging engagement once live

  • Attend and document events related to the Office of Undergraduate Studies

  • Track analytics, creates reports, and reviews past efforts to determine effectiveness and guide future strategies

Supervision

  • Supervise student interns.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related area plus three years of experience in budget, grant and program management or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required. Develops and implements program ideas into successful academic and research programs; demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required.
