The most important criteria for this role is a proven successful track record of sales. This individual must be motivated to both achieve outstanding results and succeed in a competitive environment. As a Schindler Existing Installation Sales Representative, the candidate's role will be to pursue elevator and escalator service, maintenance, repair, and upgrade sales opportunities, as well as to build customer relationships to promote account retention and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will be a person of character who embodies Schindler's ideals of honesty and integrity, who maintains an optimistic attitude, is assured of success, and is not afraid to take calculated risks to enhance revenue growth. This role is customer focused, and the selected candidate must be able to connect with people to form outstanding customer relationships in order to advance Schindler Elevator's presence in the marketplace thus ensuring achievement of the organization's financial goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Participate in Company/Region/District professional development programs to enhance working knowledge of Elevator Company products, services and procedures. * Meet and/ or exceed assigned sales and customer objectives. * Negotiate contract terms favourable to Company. * Establish favourable client relationships. * Analyze customer needs and secure desirable business through application of Company products and services. * Prepare estimates for the sale of Company products and services. * Assist architects and/ or developers with application of Company products through layout data and specifications. * Prepare and maintain required customer information and files in accordance with established procedures. * Source, analyze, communicate and apply competitive data for competitive advantage to Schindler. * Communicate to both customer and internal operations the necessary information so as to ensure customer satisfaction and meet sales cost objectives. * Accounts receivable management for assigned accounts. * Assess and follow customer complaints to satisfactory resolution. Your Experience

Minimum Education Level: Bachelors Degree Degree in Business Administration or Engineering preferred, or equivalent.

Other Special Requirements: * Two year's experience in elevator or construction related industry. * Possess knowledge of Company products, services and procedures, have negotiation skills and sales techniques required to sell Company products and services, understand operating environment, national and local code requirements as well as Company policies.
