This role will be part of the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (J&J IM), Precision Medicine Commercial team in the United States and is intended to work in service of our US Precision Medicine strategy, aligned to the needs of our current and future portfolio. The Precision Medicine Account Manager will serve as the precision medicine expert and resource within their region, working with key customers and priority accounts to support their ability to provide personalized care. Primary responsibilities will be providing commercial support to US providers as they navigate the complex landscape of guidelines-based recommendations in precision medicine. Developing key opinion leaders in support of J&J IM’s leadership in the Precision Medicine space, supporting key internal stakeholders with customer engagement where precision medicine is a priority topic. Internal US team collaboration includes - Medical Affairs, Oncology Specialists, Genitourinary sales team, Key Account Managers, Urology Business Account Managers, Thought Leader Liaisons, Oncology Clinical Educators, and members of the Strategic Customer Group (SCG). The Precision Medicine Account Manager will report to the Senior Director, Precision Medicine for US Oncology.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the Precision Medicine commercial lead and expert for implementation of the US precision medicine strategy in their region
Provide Precision Medicine expertise to cross-functional teams, focusing on prioritized barriers to biomarker testing and deployment of J&J IM Precision Medicine resources
Build relationships with key physicians, population health decision makers, and pathologists to execute on our Precision Medicine strategy aligned to the J&J IM current and future portfolio
Develop a deep understanding of the patient testing journey, testing landscape, and barriers to guidelines-based biomarker testing at the account level in order to identify opportunities for J&J IM to support improvement in testing practices
As a Precision Medicine representative for J&J IM, present at external meetings with key stakeholders consisting of providers and/or access marketplace representatives.
Alongside SCG, support the efforts of J&J IM to positively impact access and coverage of comprehensive biomarker testing
Qualifications
Required:
Undergraduate degree (B.A./B.S. required)
Minimum 8-years of business experience, 2 years Precision Medicine experience required
Oncology experience required
Ability for up to 50% travel including overnights required
A valid driver’s license within the 50 United States required
Preferred:
Demonstrated strategic approach to customer interactions and ability to drive meaningful change
Demonstrated ability to advance work and execute in a matrix organization
Strong marketplace knowledge in the field of precision medicine
An ability to work well in ambiguity and identify areas of current and future opportunity
Strong communication and collaboration skills consistent with the J&J Leadership Imperatives (Connect / Shape / Deliver / Lead).
Candidate should demonstrate a high level of commercial capabilities and clear cycles of success in prior commercial roles.

The base pay range for this position is $174,000 to $250,700. The Company maintains a highly competitive sales incentive compensation program. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for participation in this program in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. This position is eligible for a company car through the Company’s FLEET program. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and work, personal and family time off in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
