GE Healthcare Lead Program Integrator in Salt Lake City, Utah

Job Description Summary

The Lead Program Integrator (LPI) is responsible for driving program execution for the Surgery Business with a focus on service engineering projects. The LPI develops the design change plans and ensures that the necessary resources are applied and delivered to plan. The LPI leads cross-functional teams to ensure product sourcing, manufacturability, serviceability, safety, and quality. The LPI owns the transfer of service engineering design to the service team. The LPI will also utilize system design expertise to drive overall product quality, verification, validation, and adhere to the quality management system.

GE Healthcare Surgery is committed to designing Intraoperative imaging systems that are clinically relevant and provide an optimal experience for surgeons and interventionalists to visualize anatomy and lesions, guide interventions, and navigate inside the human body. Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and managing engineering / technology projects.

  • Ensures that multi-functional projects integrate properly within the product.

  • Ability to proactively manage cross-functional interdependencies to maximize team efficiency and avoid gaps/delays in program execution.

  • Anticipate integration and design issues and can discern appropriate actions to progress the team and project forward.

  • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering.

  • Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.

  • Lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.

  • Ensures that the product development process abides to the GE Healthcare Quality Management System, Phase Review Discipline, and market specific regulatory requirements.

  • Drives execution with key GE suppliers to ensure first articles and manufacturing released products are delivered on time with high quality.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM related field required.

  • 5+ years of engineering experience to drive technical decision making for lower risk programs/projects.

  • 2+ years of experience with project management, quality management systems, and regulatory compliance processes.

  • Must have experience working with cross functional stakeholders and demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.

  • Experience in working in a matrix organization plus strong influencing and negotiation skills.
