Job Description

-Lead the creation and maintenance of the technology and service strategy, as part of an overall network and telcom roadmap

-Lead and influence Subject Matter Experts based across geographies focused on LAN, Wireless, WAN, VoIP, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Cloud, CNF & DC, Firewall, IPS, NAC, and Remote Access

-SD-WAN & Firewall Pilots: Lead pilot schemes resulting from the ongoing SD-WAN and Firewall RFP. Coach project teams, define success criteria, and assess participants.

-Enterprise Architecture Council (EAC) Participation: Participate in weekly meetings with fellow architects. Contribute to decisions on managing the technology portfolio.

-Architecture Review Board (ARB) Approver: Analyze requests for new items or significant redesigns in the portfolio. Act as an approver for infrastructure assessments.

-Change Advisory Board (CAB) Approver: Analyze ITIL change requests impacting the network and telecoms space. Act as an approver for these changes.

-NIST Cyber Initiatives: Support the company's program to enhance cyber maturity using NIST standards. Provide coaching and guidance at the network architecture level for initiatives like platform hardening, inventory management, and compliance.

-Review and Update Network & Telecoms Standards: Identify gaps in current network and telecoms documentation. Work with SMEs to create and approve missing or outdated documentation.

-Network as a Service Feasibility Study: Explore and assess the potential value of Network as a Service offerings. Determine applicability to Solventum use cases.

Skills and Requirements

-Network Architecture Expertise: Extensive experience in designing and implementing network architectures. Technology and services experience should include: LAN, Wireless, WAN, VoIP, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DC, Firewall, IPS, NAC, Remote Access

-Proficiency in SD-WAN and firewall technologies.

-Strong understanding of network security principles and practices.

-Zscaler Experience: Previous experience with Zscaler solutions and technologies.

-Leadership and Project Management abilities including Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects and experience in coaching and mentoring project teams.

-Knowledge of ITIL change management processes.

-Ability to analyze and approve infrastructure assessments. -Familiarity with NIST standards and their application in network security.

-Documentation and Standards Development: Experience in creating and updating network and telecoms documentation.

-Ability to identify gaps in existing standards and develop new documentation.

-Service Optimization: Knowledge of Network as a Service (NaaS) offerings.

-Experience in assessing the value and applicability of new service offerings. null
