This position manages licensure for all CAPS and GS Education Programs. This role also provides primary administrative support for the Associate Dean of Education, the College of Professional Studies (CAPS) & Graduate School (GS) Special Education, and Ed.D. programs. In addition, this position provides back-up support for data management for CAPS and GS education programs. This full-time position is ideal for someone with experience in the field of education. Once training and onboarding is complete, this position does allow for work-from-home up to 3 days per week. Responsibilities Manages/oversees licensure for all Education Programs (undergraduate and graduate CAPS and GS). Serve as the Certifying Officer for all Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) licensure recommendations. Serve as liaison between the Registrar's Office, program completers, and PELSB. Process Special Ed licenses and facilitates the processing of all other CAPS and GS licenses. Present License Seminar to student teachers. Remain up to date on licensure changes and communicates changes to students, Program Directors, Admissions, Student Success Advisors, and the Registrar's Office. Ed.D. Administrative Assistant Support Coordinate residency planning for the Doctor of Education: Leadership in Higher Education, Doctor of Education: Leadership in K12 Administration, and K12 Administrator Licenses Program. Oversight of EdD Student Resources Moodle site and EdD Faculty Resources Moodle site (updates, announcements). Manage EdD Program stipend process (submit and track, communicate with Business Office). Responsible for EdD program reports (Argos, ABD, writing red flag list). Responsible for edd-dissertation@bethel.edu email account and tracking student documentation/progress (dissertation committee, proposal meeting, defense meeting, committee stipend payments). Coordinate EdD monthly team meetings (schedule, minutes) Supports the Associate Dean of Education Coordinate, schedule, and attend student/faculty meetings and events for the CAPS/GS Education Programs and prepares documents, as requested. Process monthly expenses and statements. Designs and completes special projects and other duties, as assigned by the Associate Dean of Education Process WJ kits for CAPS and GS Special Education. Order desk copies of texts. Post announcements and keeping Student Resource Moodle pages up to date. Serve as first point of contact for learner, faculty, staff, and community inquiries. Answer questions and refer to the appropriate person as necessary (phone, email, face to face, etc.). Manage CAS-CAPS unique dual-program needs (CAS bookstore, CAS syllabi, CAS IDEA forms, CAS schedules). Serve as the back-up to the Assessment and Accreditation Coordinator for the Education Unit. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills Working knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office products required. Knowledge of Moodle course management software or similar CMS preferred. Must be detail orientated, with demonstrable organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure in both team and individual settings, and the ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. Individual must be able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with all constituents. Ability to manage social media preferred, but not required. Experience 2+ years of office experience with complex levels of responsibility. Experience in education, preferred. Education Bachelor's degree Bachelor's degree in education or related field, preferred Addit onal Information This is a 40 hour per week, 12-month position. Individual must have the flexibility to work some evenings (approximately once a month) or early morning hours (during summer residency), as needed Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods of time.
