Job Title: Failure Analysis Engineer IJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Failure Analysis Engineer I to join our team. This role involves troubleshooting and performing failure analysis on both analogue and digital electronic circuits. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of circuit schematics and components, as well as the ability to design and build prototype circuits for test fixtures.
Responsibilities
Perform troubleshooting and failure analysis of electronic circuits, both analogue and digital.
Understand and interpret schematics to determine how circuit components function.
Utilize proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access to document quality issues and performance measures for management review.
Apply knowledge of common failure modes of electronic components and assemblies.
Design, build, and assemble prototype circuits for test fixtures.
Liaise with external vendors as necessary.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
0-3 years of experience in a related field.
Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
Understanding of schematics and electronic circuit components.
Knowledge of common failure modes of electronic components and assemblies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in failure analysis and root cause analysis.
Ability to design and build prototype circuits.
Work Environment
This role is situated in an engineering environment, where you will work with various technologies and equipment. The position is non-exempt, meaning it is eligible for overtime pay. You will collaborate with team members and may occasionally interact with external vendors.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
