Tasks

· Manage US accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivables, fixed assets, inventory control to enable efficient operations and effective internal controls.

· Perform the monthly closing process including journal entry preparation and approval. Ensure all accounting is handled in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

· Prepare or approve reconciliations for all key balance sheet accounts, and variance analysis. Investigate and resolve any reconciling items.

· Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports and statements. Generate information for year-end financial review.

· Ensure established accounting policies and procedures are adhered to and participate in the revision or development of policies. Improve procedures and initiate corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

· B.S. in Accounting or a relevant field, CPA preferred.

· A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; some public accounting experience preferred.

· Organized, detail-oriented, analytical, persistent, proactive. Strong technical accounting knowledge.

· Tech savvy in terms of being able to quickly learn the ERP system.
