Summary

To perform all of the duties related with receiving, stocking and issuing of material in stockroom.

Essential Job Duties

  • Work with planning function to assure material is issued in a manner that satisfies their priorities to support the completion of work on the production floor.

  • Receive and stock material into assigned locations.

  • Record all transactions required to perform job duties.

  • Maintain a clean, well-organized, safe work area.

  • Perform cycle counts as directed by supervision.

  • May direct the work of others.

Required Qualifications -

  • High School diploma preferred

  • Basic math skills and computer literacy required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - May be representative, but not all-inclusive, of those knowledge, skills and abilities commonly associated with this position.

  • Critical thinker with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to develop and maintain positive and productive business relationships.

  • Ability to operate material handling equipment.

Work Environment -

  • General factory conditions. Exposed to moderate noise levels.

  • The typical schedule is weekdays 7:00 am - 3:30

  • Must be able to don PPE including safety shoes, or glasses where required in the on-site manufacturing areas.

Physical Abilities -

  • Required to use close vision and be able to focus.

  • Regularly required to talk and hear; frequently required to sit, stand and bend at the knee and waist, and walk.

  • Must be able to have repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movement to type and work on computer.

  • Must have finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination to work on computer, telephone, and related office equipment.

  • Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.
