Actalent Manufacturing Associate Engineer in Saint Cloud, Minnesota
Position Summary
Are you ready to take on a dynamic role within our Manufacturing Engineering department? Reporting to the ME/Maintenance Manager, this position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, manage the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) System, and lead facility improvement projects. Key Responsibilities
Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) System Management: Create and supervise the TPM System, including the distribution and control of Maintenance Work Requests, and scheduling and maintaining Preventive Maintenance (PM) for both internal and external items.
Maintenance Supervisor Backup: Act as a backup to the Maintenance Supervisor when absent or unavailable.
Janitorial Crew Management: Manage the contracted janitorial crew, order and maintain inventory of janitorial supplies, filters, and other necessary items.
Facility Improvement Projects: Lead facility improvement projects and renovations, including kaizen events.
Special Departmental Projects: Support and promote special projects within Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, Lean Facilitation, Facilities, and Tool & Die teams.
TPM Projects at New Flyer: Lead TPM projects, including planning, training, implementation, and audits.
Process Improvements: Initiate process improvements in support of the strategic plan.
Supplier Communication: Communicate with suppliers, obtain quotes, schedule visits, review services, payments, and invoices, and resolve any issues.
Billing Documentation: Verify and match department billing documentation before submitting for payment authorization.
Budget Management: Maintain departmental costs and budget information, assist in preparing departmental budgets, and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
Purchase Requisitions: Review and process purchase requisitions, assist with associated training, GL codes assignment, delivery status inquiries, pricing, supplier information, and contacts.
Department Reports and Documents: Maintain control of department reports and documents, including creating Excel spreadsheets or databases for inspections, certifications, service reports, equipment records, time sheets, attendance records, vacation schedules, maintenance logs, and checklists.
Travel Arrangements: Coordinate and process travel arrangements and expense reports.
Office Administrative Procedures: Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, review, evaluate, and implement new procedures.
Lean Manufacturing Initiatives: Support all Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including completing 5S audits as assigned.
Safety Initiatives: Support all company safety initiatives.
ISO Processes Compliance: Support the documentation and compliance of all department ISO processes.
Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Team Player: Professional team player with solid interpersonal and communication skills, capable of analyzing data and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-Oriented: Highly detail-oriented and well-organized.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and MRP processes are required.
Additional Skills: Working knowledge of Oracle and formal APICS training would be considered an asset.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Health, Vision. Paid holidays. 401k program, This would be provide by the client.
