Cisco Customs Business Analyst in RTP, North Carolina

Members of the Finance organization at select locations will generally be expected to follow a hybrid work model, which includes two days of in-office attendance each week, with limited exceptions.

Meet the Team

This role is in the Finance organization as a part of the Global Tax and Customs team. In this role you will work with an inclusive group of people from across the world helping to tackle business challenges. You will work as a member of cross functional teams from across Cisco including Finance, Supply Chain, Services, and the IT organization. This role will interact with all levels within the organization and partner with both internal and external partners.

Your Impact

This is an exciting role that will help drive the business and the next generation of business capabilities for the Global Tax and Customs organization.

In this role you will develop creative solutions for real business challenges and drive key strategic programs to enable the desired business outcomes. As a business analyst, you will have many exciting projects to work on in your portfolio and will perform many activities including but not limited to:

  • Analyzing business processes

  • Assisting customs business operations team

  • Conducting business impact assessments

  • Documenting business requirements

  • Managing test planning and signoff’s

  • Ensuring effective communication between stakeholders and cross functional teams

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related degree from 4-year university

  • Proven experience in business analysis and/or project management

  • 3+ years of experience in Customs and/or Supply Chain and Logistics

  • Knowledge and experience of valuation, country of origin, classification, tariff’s, and duty drawback

  • Experience and knowledge working on customs related projects involving business application implementation and operational improvements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • US Customs Brokers License

  • Agile Certification

  • Experience with Oracle ERP or related ERP business applications

  • Excellent communication and loves working as part of a team

  • Strong organization and time management skills
