Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Industrial Security Analyst. This position is located in Roy, Utah and supports the Strategic Deterrent System (SDS) Division.

As a Sr. Principal Industrial Security Analyst, you will further the success of our programs to help Northrop Grumman leave the boundaries of what's known and solve tomorrow's problems.

What You’ll Get to Do

  • Develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment

  • Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations

  • Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies

  • Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits

  • Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience with a Bachelors Degree, 8 years with a Masters, 14 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

  • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need

  • Must have experience with NISPOM CFR Rule 32 and DoDM 5205.07 V 1-4

  • Must have experience in writing standard operating procedures (SOPs), concepts of operations (CONOPS) and test plans

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Prior Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) Experience

  • Experience leading small teams

  • Experience with SAP inspections and a record of Satisfactory compliance ratings

Salary Range: $95,000 - $142,400

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
