Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end management of HVAC system projects, from the offering phase through to delivery. This role involves commercial responsibility for complete HVAC systems, management of design and drafting teams, and the strategic expansion of our HVAC system supply. The ideal candidate will possess strong HVAC design and engineering skills, excellent communication abilities, and solid project management expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initial offering to final delivery.
Oversee the commercial aspects of complete HVAC systems.
Lead and manage design and drafting teams to ensure project targets are met.
Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Identify, allocate, and gather necessary resources to ensure successful project completion.
Prepare and present project status reports to the team and stakeholders.
Set objectives and guide the team to meet project targets, budgets, and milestones.
Identify project challenges and recommend solutions, including resource reallocation and changes in contractual specifications.
Act as the primary point of contact with customers, developing professional relationships to understand and meet their needs within the contracted scope.
Support the business development team by writing proposals and engaging with client executives to ensure timely and clear communication.
Minimum Requirements:
Proven HVAC design and engineering skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong project management skills.
Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics within a work area.
Broad knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline, with an understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Additional Qualifications:
Experience in leading a team of intermediate or experienced professionals in project management.
Ability to provide resolutions to project problems and participate effectively in project meetings.
Experience in strategic planning and resource allocation.
Ability to develop strong professional relationships with clients and understand their needs.
