Our retail leaders are the front line of our resort team: they're retail and guest-savvy, dedicated brand ambassadors and thrive on the connections we make with our guests. As a Retail Supervisor you will enjoy the opportunity to work in partnership with the Retail Director to develop outstanding associates, deliver exceptional and consistent guest experiences, and positively impact growth and travel reviews across Double JJ Resort.

Responsibilities

  • Assist to attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent
  • Teach, coach, and train to improve the success and selling potential of all associates
  • Effectively and fairly lead and drive high-performance of all associates
  • Set and reinforce clear and concise performance expectations, results goals, and accountability with all associates
  • Build a highly satisfied customer base through engagement, conversion and elevated guest experience.
  • Meet payroll targets by ensuring appropriate coverage while maintaining a selling focus
  • Consistently lead the focus on delivering emotionally engaging customer experiences while implementing sales strategies
  • Partner with the members of the sales team to support events throughout the year
  • Maintain all resort policies and procedures
  • Incorporate asset protection and safety messages into daily operations

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in leading teams in a customer-based sales environment
  • Proven track record driving sales results
  • Strong communication and ability to foster a guest first selling culture
  • Able to provide in the moment coaching to associates
  • Availability for varied weekly shifts including weekends, evenings and peak periods
  • Prior sales management experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus one-year relative experience.
  • Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
  • Ability to operate a computer, as well as maneuver relative software programs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb a ladder and work with hands overhead.
  • Standing required for up to 100% of the work time.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
