Local Not-for-profit agency is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join our team. As an Associate Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients and excellent customer service to their owners. The morale of our staff is our priority, so we are looking for a motivated and kind-hearted DVM to join our practice as a full-time associate for 5 days a week. The clinic opened in 2016 in the downtown neighborhood of Roseburg, Oregon and has quickly grown to fill the healthcare needs of low-income pet care in our community. We are a non-corporate clinic that values innovation, efficiency, comprehensive care, and collaboration with clients. With a combined total of over 100 years of veterinary experience, our 3 part time doctors, surgeons and stellar support team provide a high level of compassionate and personalized care for the cats, dogs, and small animals of our community. We have many long-standing relationships with our clients and have worked closely with other nonprofit animal welfare organizations in our community. We enjoy being active in our community and are looking forward to hosting socials, costume contests, puppy classes, and fundraisers. We are extremely proud of our team, and we are deeply invested in ensuring that our work culture is a positive one. We love to facilitate various staff bonding activities. We are currently closed on Saturdays and Sundays but would consider opening our weekend/evening schedule if a doctor were interested. We are also closed on major holidays and have no on-call duties. The entire clinic has an hour-long lunch every day, followed by a 30 minute \'catch up period\' that can be used to finish notes, call clients, or prepare for the remainder of the day. Your voice really does matter! We have monthly staff meetings as well as doctor meetings every 1-3 months to discuss what improvements can be made to the clinic. We try out many suggestions and work as a team to decide what works best for everyone.
