Join our team as an Interior Technician in Ronkonkoma, New York where you will work on private aircrafts. Your responsibilities will include removing and installing carpeting, seats, insulation, sound proofing, and fabric accessories. You will also engage in parts replacement/repair, basic electrical system installations, modifications, refurbishments, and general mechanical applications on aircraft interiors. Additional duties include performing minor modifications on panels, seats, carpets, cabinetry, upholstery, assisting in aircraft detailing and cleaning, maintaining and repairing shop facilities, equipment, and tooling.

Skills

• Basic carpentry or related experience with aircraft interiors

• Ability to use common hand tools and equipment

• Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases

• Ability to work independently

• Effective communication skills
