The Opportunity
As the EMEA Sales Manager for Data, you will lead our NDB (Nutanix Database Service) business unit, collaborating with our enterprise and commercial organizations to drive business with our most important customers. You will work within an extended team of sales, technical, partner, and consulting resources to advance the pipeline with customers and prospects, aiming to achieve or exceed quarterly pipeline, sales, and adoption targets across EMEA.
We are looking for a builder leader; a key aspect of the role will involve establishing the go-to-market strategy in the field and within the ecosystem. You will report to the International Leader for Modern Apps and Data and work in a fully remote environment, providing flexibility and convenience to meet your work-life balance needs. You will collaborate closely with your team virtually to efficiently achieve shared objectives. The travel requirements will enable you to engage directly with clients and build strong relationships, which will drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Your interactions during travel will enhance your professional network and provide valuable insights into the needs and challenges faced by various clients, contributing to the team's success and Nutanix as a whole.

Your Role
To hire, develop, and lead the Database specialist sales team across EMEA
To segment the market and ensure appropriate coverage to achieve market leadership
To drive pipeline through Marketing, Channel, and Field Activation
To achieve quarterly bookings and goals
To ensure successful post-sale adoption of NDB licenses
To manage the weekly forecast review process, ensuring appropriate qualifications of the Why Anything, Why Now, and Why Nutanix
To lead deal reviews and follow our MEDDPICC sales methodology
To be the exec sponsor on our strategic customers
To continuously educate oneself to up-skill on the broader Database market, as well as continue to build your leadership skills
To influence product roadmap and strategy by providing feedback to product marketing and engineering on current and future product requirements and sales blockers encountered
What You Will Bring
A combination of 10+ years of experience with Database Solutions Sales and Sales Leadership and/or relevant Software sales/leadership experience
Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-adapting environment, working with cross-functional teams and leveraging company resources to drive sales using a combination of top-down and bottom-up tactics
Experience growing products from early adopter customers to established strategic partnerships
Experience with database solutions like Oracle, MongoDB, Postgres, SQL Server, and/or others.
The job will likely require extensive travel.
Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
