Mammographer

Work location: Texas Health Rockwall – 3150 Horizon Road, Rockwall TX 75032

Work hours: PRN, working every Friday (8 hours) and Saturdays as needed, when available. There will also be work opportunities as needed during the week to cover departmental PTO.

Here’s What You Need

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology REQUIRED or

Associate's Degree Preferred

Experience

1 Year clinical experience in mammography preferred

Meet the mammography requirements as stated in Federal Register for MQSA in Final Rules, Part 900.12(a)(2) preferred

Licenses and Certifications

ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography Upon Hire REQUIRED and

ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography Upon Hire preferred or

ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography 12 Months REQUIRED and

CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist either by the TDH or TMB Upon Hire REQUIRED and

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly REQUIRED

Skills

Ability to produce high quality mammography with special views as directed by the radiologist, excellent verbal and writing skills, and ability to organize and analyze information.
