Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a 3rd Shift Process Technician. The molding process technician will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and optimizing injection molding machines to ensure efficient and high-quality production. The Injection Molding Process Technician will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and resolving process issues, conducting equipment maintenance, and collaborating with the production team to meet production goals.
Responsibilities
Set up and adjust injection molding machines to achieve optimal production efficiency and quality standards.
Monitor and control the injection molding process parameters, including temperature, pressure, and cycle times.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to injection molding processes, molds, and equipment.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement process improvements and optimize cycle times.
Provide feedback on processing during new tool designs and launches.
Program and troubleshoot robots.
Conduct process validations and assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all aspects of the injection molding process.
Train and mentor production operators on best practices for injection molding processes and equipment operation.
Document and maintain accurate records of process parameters, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in injection molding technology.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
