Faculty member will be responsible for teaching, research, and administrative responsibilities. This position entails a variety of duties essential to the growth and maintenance of the Behavioral Health Internship.Key Responsibilities: Individual and Group Supervision of Interns: Provide individual and group supervision to psychology interns, ensuring the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical application. Offer guidance and support to interns, facilitating their professional and personal development in forensic psychology. Overseeing Research Projects: Supervise and mentor students in conducting research projects, including thesis and dissertation work. Assist in the development of research proposals, data collection, analysis, and publication of findings. Foster a research-oriented environment by encouraging innovative and interdisciplinary research initiatives. Teaching: Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses within the forensic psychology minor program. Develop and update curriculum to reflect current trends and advancements in forensic psychology. Assisting in Maintaining APA Accreditation: Support the department in maintaining APA accreditation standards by participating in self-study processes, program evaluations, and accreditation reviews. Ensure that the program's policies, procedures, and practices adhere to APA guidelines and standards. Coordination with Training Sites and Supervisors: Act as a liaison between the university and external training sites, ensuring a consistent and high-quality training experience for students. Coordinate with site supervisors to monitor and evaluate intern progress and address any concerns or issues that arise. Develop and maintain strong relationships with training sites to enhance collaborative opportunities and placements for students.Doctorate in PsychologyNYS Psychology License Eligible

Minimum Salary: 100000 Maximum Salary: 105000 Salary Unit: Yearly
