Description SUMMARY As a Support Tech, your expert computer skills and knowledge is crucial to assist Rochester Regional Health computer users in efficient and easy hardware set-up, software installation and troubleshooting.STATUS: Per Diem - Weekends LOCATION: Riedman Campus DEPARTMENT: Information Technology - Deskside SupportSCHEDULE: Saturday and Sunday - 8:00am to 4:00pm ATTRIBUTESExceptional computer skillsStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsFlexibility in scheduleRESPONSIBILITIES Computer Management. Install and configure computers, monitors and related hardware required for new installations and office reconfigurationCustomer Service. Act as a liaison with end-user computer customers; act as a technical resource in assisting customers to resolve hardware and software problems; perform data extraction and transfer proceduresSystem Management. Assist in the planning and monitoring of Systems Support expenses; upgrade operating systems and software; create and modify documentation where requiredEDUCATION: AS (Required)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: L - Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly; requires occasional walking, standing or squatting.PAY RANGE: $22.00 - $25.00 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
