Job Summary:

ESB is planning to train and develop HVAC controls service engineers. This position includes programming, service, and installation.

Development Commitment:

• Company paid factory and on-the-job training.

• Candidates must be self-motivated to develop skills on their own through OEM technical literature and on-line classes.

• Experience in hands-on troubleshooting and mechanical/electrical aptitude a plus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Program and Validate Complex DDC Systems: Develop, test, and ensure the proper functioning of Direct

Digital Control (DDC) systems to meet project specifications and performance standards.

• Respond to Controls Service Calls: Address and resolve service calls related to control systems as required

or dispatched, with travel throughout Western New York (WNY) as necessary.

• Diagnose and Repair Electronic Control System Malfunctions: Utilize extensive knowledge of various

electronic and digital control systems to identify issues, perform tests, and implement necessary

modifications to restore functionality.

• Support Estimation and Project Coordination: Assist in the estimation of service work and contribute to

the planning and coordination of projects to ensure timely and efficient completion.

• Client and Staff Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients and internal

staff to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns or requirements.

• Adhere to Corporate Policies: Follow company policies regarding safety, work ethics, and time

management to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

• Project Planning: Proactively plan and organize project tasks to maximize productivity and efficiency on

the job site.

Required:

• Successful completion of a DMV and background check (company vehicle and gas card provided).

• Passing a drug screening.

• OSHA 10 certification.

• Experience in HVAC, electrical, and/or plumbing is highly desirable.

Compensation Range: $40.87/hour or higher depending on experience
