Summary: The classroom teacher is the students primary teacher during the course of the school day. They are the main conduit for information between home and school and serves as each childs educational advocate at Renaissance Academy Charter School of the Arts.

Salary Grade and Location Salary is highly competitive and based on degree and certification 10-month in person position Insurance and 403(b) is offered to full time employees with cost based on coverage that is chosen. All applicants must receive fingerprint clearance prior to starting employment.
Education, Experience and/or Certification or License Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Education Valid New York State Teaching Certificate in their subject area and/or ESSA highly-qualified status Preferably, previous teaching experience in a public or private school, preferably in an urban setting; or experience working with groups of children and youth, preferably in an urban setting; within
the candidates special skill area preferred
