Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage with prospective candidates through various channels, harnessing job boards, social media platforms, networking events, and more, to build rapport.

  • Craft and implement innovative sourcing strategies that not only fill current vacancies but also prepare RIT for future growth by building a robust talent pipeline.

  • Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings, positioning RIT ahead of the curve for upcoming roles.

  • Amplify RIT’s reputation at outreach and recruitment events, raising RIT’s employer profile and ensuring that RIT remains an employer-of-choice for top-tier talent.

  • Provide regular updates to the recruitment team on sourcing progress.

  • May support the recruitment team by conducting preliminary screening of potential candidates to assess their qualifications.

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field

  • Proven experience in talent sourcing, recruitment, marketing, or social media.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and social media for candidate sourcing.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in higher education

  • Prior ATS experience with Kenexa/Brassing

  • Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or Spanish

Job Summary:

The Candidate Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for identifying and attracting top-tier talent to our organization. This role will work closely with the recruitment team to develop and execute sourcing strategies that yield a highly-qualified and diverse pool of candidates for staff positions.

This is a part-time position with an anticipated work schedule of 20 hours/week.
