Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry. The role is based in ROCHESTER, New York, and you will become an integral part of our rapidly evolving team.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the administrative and clerical needs of the Accounts Payable/Finance Department.

• Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner.

• Provide customer service to internal business partners.

• Provide internal and external audit assistance as required.

• Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail.

• Sort, log, photocopy, and file invoices, checks, and other documents.

• Verify, log, and mail checks, including expediting special handling.

• Perform special projects as assigned.

• Have experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and MS Excel.

• Maintain a highly organized and detail-oriented approach to work. Requirements • Must have proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Demonstrated experience in the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry is required

• Familiarity with MS Excel is necessary

• Candidates must have a strong understanding of accounting principles

• Ability to manage large amounts of data and compile detailed reports

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle time-sensitive tasks are essential

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required

• Candidates must be highly organized and detail-oriented

• Ability to maintain confidentiality is crucial

• Prior experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role is a plus

• Knowledge of standard accounting procedures and best practices

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
