Key responsibilities

  • Develops process and product flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and specifications for the installation of equipment to support the manufacture of new products or to improve existing products and processes.

  • Oversees contractors in the installation of equipment to improve or modernize facilities and equipment that support new or existing product lines.

  • Prepare documentation and perform FAT, IQ, OQ, CQ, PSSR and other activities for project commissioning.

  • Develops and maintains process control program documentation.

  • Maintains drawings, spreadsheets, I/O lists, etc. for all control systems throughout the plant.

  • Assists in troubleshooting the production process to eliminate production losses due to contamination, equipment malfunction and human error.

  • Participates in process and equipment risk assessments in order to optimize engineering design and safety.

  • Completes regulatory licenses and permits following reporting instructions and submits reports as required.

  • Follows SQF 2000 guidelines. Writes and reviews Q-Set documents in the Quality Manual in Lotus Notes. Assures continuous quality improvement of our practices, procedures, and products.

  • Maintains the maintenance system compliance through writing and assigning work orders and generating purchase orders.

Qualifications and skills

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline.

EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years' experience in the food/pharmaceutical industry serving in a technical support capacity.

SKILLS: Demonstrated leadership skills, a high level of motivation and the ability to work independently with a minimum of guidance from management.

Compensation Data

The typical hiring range for this role is $73,758 to $108,755 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
