Medical Insurance Paid Time Off Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Basic Life Insurance Tuition Reimbursement Employer Paid Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability Adoption Assistance Plan Qualifications: Completion of administrative assistant program or equivalent experience required College diploma with experience working in a business/fundraising office, or equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered Exceptionally strong attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability required Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a busy environment Ability to handle confidential information appropriately Minimum two years of experience with Raiser's Edge or other development software package High level of typing accuracy and speed Proficiency in internet research/navigation and Microsoft Office Strong interpersonal skills Demonstrated initiative and organizational skills Ability to function as a member of a team to fulfill the team's responsibilities Job Responsibilities: Manages Raiser's Edge benefactor information database and events management software system, as well as online giving software. Enters constituent data for all individuals and organizations, including names, address updates, constituent demographics, relationship links, and other attributes. Maintains database constituent codes. Produces acknowledgement letters for all benefactor gifts and sponsorships. Enters returned mail address corrections or other such change of address notification. Extracts information and exports data to other software applications. Input key information in other systems as needed. Maintains benefactor records and gift information through individual or batch entries. Produces reports and assists with general analysis of data as it relates to fundraising and donor recognition. Conducts research on individuals, corporations, and foundations for prospect activity and maintain integrity of data. Tracks all information for foundation letters of inquiry and proposals. Accurately records and tracks report dates required for any funding source. Executes annual database clean-up activity with all program components of the Foundation. Uses Raiser's Edge and related software applications for fund development process improvement. Implements web-based applications for benefactor recognition, online giving, gift proposals, events management, etc. Maintains and produces event invitation mailing lists. Assists in producing letters and envelopes for mass mailings. Coordinates event sponsorships and supports event planning. Supports special initiative or capital campaign activities, including employee giving. Manages annual calendar of foundation events, fundraising campaigns, constituent communications, and promotional activities. Produces reports requested by development officer or vice president, in a timely manner. Works cooperatively with finance staff on deposits, accounts payable, and financial reports. Provides related assistance as required for special projects and events as required.
