JOB REQUIREMENTS: Alliance Laundry System LLC Senior Engineering Design Technician US-WI-Ripon Job ID: 2025-4528 Type: Full-Time # of Openings: 1 Category: Engineering Alliance Laundry Systems Overview Under the direction of the Engineering Lab Manager, the Senior Engineering Design Technician will test and develop laundry equipment and related subsystem designs to meet company performance, safety and reliability requirements. This includes planning and executing test programs, establishing and maintaining test capabilities and processes, and communicating test results to internal stakeholders. The Senior Engineering Design Technician will also be responsible for mentoring and training Engineering Test and Design Technicians on testing procedures and product knowledge. Responsibilities Development, validation, and life testing of products to measure performance and ensure we meet agency requirements Assist with development of new designs for improvements, safety, quality control, and test reliability Develop fixtures to accelerate testing by using extreme conditions and rapid cycles Utilize Microsoft Office, data acquisition equipment (National Instrument), voltage meters, t-couples, environmental chambers, HiPot tester, Oscilloscope, ground bond tester, etc. Hook-up utilities to products, troubleshoot problems, analyze parts, and make recommendations for improvement Perform EMI/EMC testing Write formal lab reports to include test procedures, equipment, raw data, summarized results, conclusion, and recommendations Build prototype machines and components/sub-assemblies Collaborate with engineers to develop lab tests and prioritize lab activities to support engineering timelines Create and maintain programs in LabView Troubleshoot lab and facilities equipment and coordinate repairs or replacement as needed Provide guidance and training to engineering support, test, and design technicians, including lab process training, field input to engineers for consideration on new projects, and quality input as to how projects relate to service and warranty Onboard new Engineering employees with product and industry knowledge Provide guidance to Engineering and Tech Pubs on troubleshooting issues and kits Qualifications Education and Experience: High School Diploma, or equivalent is required. An Associate\'s degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electro-Mechanical Technology, Mechancial Design, Electrical or closely related program is preferred. At least 10 years experience in a lab or testing environment Prior leadership experience (direct or indirect) preferred Skills and Abilities: Electrical and Mechanical troubleshooting skills Ability to read and utilize a wiring diagram Systems-proficient, particularly in MS Office products; LabVIEW experience is a plus Team & people-focused; achieve results by collaborating with others and providing clear direction to team members Growth-mindset; desire & ability to train and share expertise with colleagues Solid organizational skills; able to self-manage workload and multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines, as well as that of a team Strong written and verbal communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders Standard and Physical Requirements: Position involves sitting long periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting Alliance Team Members Demonstrate DRIVE: Dedicated: Follows through on commitments.
