Business Analyst

The Business Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the backlog in Azure DevOps, creating user requirements, defining scope, and ensuring the backlog is clean and up-to-date. This role requires strong collaboration with stakeholders and development teams to ensure alignment and clear communication of project goals. Additionally, the BA will assist with planning and organizing sprints, and may occasionally perform Scrum Master duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Backlog in Azure DevOps:

  • Regularly update and prioritize the product backlog.

  • Ensure that the backlog is refined, organized, and free of redundancies.

  • Create User Requirements and Define Scope:

  • Gather and document detailed user requirements.

  • Define the project scope in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Backlog Cleaning:

  • Continuously review and clean the backlog to ensure relevance and clarity.

  • Define Acceptance Criteria:

  • Develop clear and testable acceptance criteria for all user stories and requirements.

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders and Developers:

  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team.

  • Facilitate effective communication to ensure project objectives are met.

  • Bridge the Gap Between Technical and Business:

  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.

  • Planning and Organization:

  • Assist in planning sprints and ensuring alignment with the overall roadmap.

  • Maintain high levels of organization to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • User Story Sizing:

  • Expertly size user stories to ensure they are manageable and deliverable within sprints.

  • Categorize Requirements:

  • Organize requirements into appropriate categories such as user stories, epics, etc.

  • Scrum Master Duties (as required):

  • Facilitate scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

  • Ensure the team follows Agile practices and principles.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in any STEM related field.

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.

  • High intellectual capability and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to understand and communicate both business and technical requirements.

  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.

  • Proven capability in user story sizing and backlog management.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the oil and gas industry.

  • Knowledge of fiber optics applications in oil and gas.

UX Designer

We are seeking a talented and experienced iOS UX/UI Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional design skills, particularly in Figma, and have a strong understanding of both mobile and web UX design principles.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field preferred but not required

  • Proficiency in Figma.

  • Proven experience in creating mockups, including wireframes and high-fidelity designs.

  • Articulate functionality and communicate effectively with leadership, stakeholders, and the development team.

  • Experience in iOS mobile UX design.

  • Present a Portfolio showcasing previous design work.

Non-Mandatory Skills:

  • Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with iOS product development teams, product owners, and product managers to understand project requirements and translate them into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.

  • Utilize Figma to create both wireframe and high-fidelity mockups for iOS mobile applications.

  • Articulate functionality and design decisions effectively to leadership, stakeholders, and the development team.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on design goals and objectives.

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in iOS UX/UI design.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an iOS UX/UI Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing iOS mobile design projects.

  • Proficiency in Figma and other design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts to various stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of iOS mobile UX design principles and best practices.
