Vending Installation Technician (GA, Ringgold)GA, Ringgold

At Five Star Breaktime Solutions, our Vending Installation Technicians prepare the vending machines for installation. Vending Installation Technicians need to have a general mechanical/electrical aptitude, excellent diagnosis/troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in a team environmet as well as in a safe manner.

Vending Installation Technician responsibilities include:

• Works with maintenance supervisor to Schule and coordinate vending equipment installations.

• Refurbishes old vending equipment to be installed at customer locations.

• Completes preventative maintenance by testing refrigeration, carbonation, evaporation, dispensing, electrical, and coin handling systems.

• Visually inspects and listens to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions.

• Dismantles vending machines and equipment to gain access to problem areas.

• Removes and replaces worn or defective parts of the vending machine by using hand tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers, etc.

• Maintain proper inventory of the installation truck and work area within the warehouse.

  Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working with refrigeration systems and electrical systems.

• Prior experience working with machines and electrical maintenance with the purpose of repair/installs.

  Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school degree preferred.

• Must be able to lift 50lbs+; on a repetitive basis and have the ability to reach, bend, stoop on a frequent basis. Frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.

• Service Technicians are required to be at least 21 years old (DOT) and have a valid driver's license.

• Must be able to consent to an initial drug screen.

• Must be able to consent to a pre-employment background check.

• Must be able to consent to and have the ability to obtain and maintain DOT medical card.

• Ability to drive a company box truck vehicle or other assigned company vehicles.

• Ability to work in all weather conditions (ex. heat, cold, rain, and/or snow)

  Position Information:

• Status: Full-Time

• Pay Rate: $18.00-$20.00/hr (based on prior experience)

• Work Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm

• Workdays: Monday-Friday
