Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a multi-craft Maintenance Engineer who will primarily focus on conveyor systems within our warehouse. The role involves handling preventative maintenance tasks every few months. While PLC experience is not mandatory, it would be advantageous as we plan to upgrade our systems in the future.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on conveyor systems in the warehouse.

• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks periodically.

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.

• Utilize pneumatic systems and controls.

• Handle PLC troubleshooting as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience working on conveyors (at least a few years).

• Strong electrical skills.

• Pneumatics experience.

• Controls experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• PLC troubleshooting experience (programming not required).

• Previous experience in a similar maintenance technician role.

• Mechanical skills related to conveyor maintenance.

Work Environment

The work schedule includes two day shift openings: Monday to Thursday from 7am to 4pm, and Friday from 7am to 2pm. This role is contract-to-hire, offering a pathway to a permanent position.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ridgeway, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
