This is a job for a Cloud Solutions Architect position with a company located in Ridgeland, MS.

Job Summary: The Cloud Solution Architect will be responsible for new technology solution architecture that powers seamless end-user experiences and utilizes modern frameworks, capabilities, and tools. You will be joining a collaborative, cross-functional team that values your insight, encourages you to take on new responsibilities, promotes continuous learning, and rewards innovation. We are seeking someone with a knowledge of building next-gen capabilities on scalable and secure enterprise-grade platforms. You will collaborate with relevant business and technology partners across the firm to design and implement new applications using the latest tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities: The Cloud Solution Architect job duties include, but are not limited to: Design next-gen solution architecture utilizing native cloud services on leading providers (AWS, GCP, and/or Azure) using various architectural concepts and approaches. Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to design and release new features. Lead solution design, feasibility assessment, and technical optimization that results in production deployment and explore opportunities to expand or accelerate cloud services. Design multi-segmented secure infrastructures, virtual and physical. Influences internal and external customers to grow or scale their business with high-potential modernization opportunities. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. Troubleshoot and debug software issues, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Partner with product management to design and deliver right-fit solutions for customers. Build and maintain strong relationships and feedback loops with leaders and stakeholders. Communicate to appropriate stakeholders in a clear, accurate, and timely manner. Ability to think outside of the box. Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments and projects using an Agile approach. Other tasks that may be required to complete project requirements. Position may require travel.

Required Qualifications: Five (5) to seven (7) years experience in architecting solutions and leading transformation from traditional On Prem Cloud/Cloud Hybrid. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or STEM field. Certified architect in at least 1 major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP). Demonstrated experience with designing and deploying complex secure network infrastructure. Experience with designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining complex, multi-segmented secure network infrastructures, virtual and physical. Demonstrated experience with presenting and communicating technical designs. Experience with microservices architecture, programming, and Big Data technology. Demonstrated experience with virtual and physical firewalls. Demonstrated experience with network hardware designing and engineering. Experience with performance tuning and scaling for enterprise-grade. Able to work independently and in team environments.

Preferred and Additional Considerations: Experience building AI-embedded software applications. Demonstrated experience as an Amazon AWS Solution Architect. Demonstrated experience as a Google Cloud Architect. Demonstrated experience with pfsense. Demonstrated experience with Linux. Demonstrated experience with Ansible. Demonstrated experience with Python and Spark.

Certification(s): Cisco Certified Network Associate or Professionals ITIL V4 Certification.
