We're on a search for a Product Solutions Consulting Director who's passionate about about building transformational products and can provide solutions consulting and product-related guidance to our teams. Unfortunately, the solutions on the market are limited in their technological or analytical capabilities, making the process slow and manual. At Samsung SDS America, we are shaping the future of supply chain management by infusing artificial intelligence (AI) to bring predictive power and efficiency to procurement processes.

As a key hire on our brand-new team, you will be the driving force behind our Caidentia (https://www.samsungsds.com/us/srm/caidentia.html) solution.

Your mission is to guide our clients through the digital transformation of their procurement processes. With your expertise, you will analyze client needs, tailor our software solutions to their unique challenges, and demonstrate the unparalleled value of our offerings through engaging presentations and demos. Additionally, provide guidance to the product teams as we build the stack.

Location: This is a 100% remote role in the US. This role requires business travel up to 35%.

Responsibilities:

  • Client-Centric Consultation: Engage deeply with clients to understand their business objectives and tailor solutions that meet their unique challenges.

  • Innovative Solution Design: Utilize your SCM and procurement knowledge to craft customized software solutions that align precisely with client needs.

  • Solution Development Guidance: Work closely with the Product Management team to offer insights and recommendations for enhancing solutions, based on customer feedback.

  • Working cross-functionally: This position involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, and technical product teams to drive innovative solutions and achieve our business objectives.

  • Build Value Selling: Collaborate with sales and product teams to develop comprehensive value assessments, create tailored ROI analyses, and articulate compelling value propositions for value-based selling strategies.

  • Dynamic Presentations: Showcase the value of our solutions through compelling demos, leaving potential clients captivated.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Work alongside our cross-functional teams to develop robust sales strategies and proposals.

  • Technical Leadership: Provide vital technical guidance throughout the sales cycle, ensuring the team is aligned and effective.

  • Travel and Engagement: Participate in industry events and travel for onsite client meetings, expanding your professional network and fostering key relationships.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of SaaS sales experience in technical sales or pre-sales roles within the Procurement, SCM or SRM space

  • Prior experience working in a startup environment within the enterprise software industry

  • Strong background in business applications, preferably procurement, SCM and SRM.

  • Strong knowledge of the supplier management, procurement processes, and supply chain dynamics.

  • Excellent customer relationship management skills, including effective oral and written communications.

  • Ability to articulate complex ideas in a simple and understandable manner.

  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills, including ability to build clear observations, analysis and conclusions based on customer interviews and data.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science or Business Administration

  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Willingness to travel to industry events and customer meetings for business

  • Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional evening meetings, calls, and participation in demonstrations as needed
