We are seeking an accomplished QA Engineer to join our team in building the software tools that power our proprietary CRM platform and support our sales teams across Homes.com, Costar.com, Apartments.com, LoopNet.com, and more. Successful candidates will be knowledgeable in writing and executing test cases to verify the functionality of software, have a high level of understanding of software development, and know different ways to test components in a range of scenarios. You will be highly analytical and have exceptional attention to detail, as well as strong communication skills.

This position is located in Richmond, VA and offers 2 days remote per week.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, documents and implements procedures and techniques that are consistent with departmental SQA Methodology for analyzing, testing, and evaluating the risk (software & business), accuracy, completeness, internal integrity/consistency, testability and overall quality of business systems and SDLC processes

  • Creates and maintains SQA deliverables including test plans, test cases, test data, project test progress and release reports, application turnover documents and test schedules

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited, not for profit university or college

  • Track record of commitment to prior employers

  • 3+ years of experience working on development and maintenance of Enterprise-Level applications

  • 3+ years of experience with functional testing either manually or via automation tools.

  • 2+ years of experience with TFS, Git, Visual Studio, or other Microsoft tools

  • 3+ years of experience working in Agile environment with solid understanding on scrum and sprint cycles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners)

  • Experience with writing T-SQL queries, or elastic/OpenSearch Queries

  • Experience with testing/debugging tools including Chrome Debugger, Postman, Fiddler.

  • Experience with error logging applications, Datadog, Kibana

  • Experience working in a Microsoft shop, using Azure and TFS

  • Experience with validating in cloud storage, AWS, Snowflake (a plus, not a requirement)

  • Experience with JavaScript Gherkin and/or Cucumber. Playwright (a plus, not a requirement)
