Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to operate Excavators and Dozers at an industrial recycling facility. The Operator will be responsible for moving construction materials such as dirt, asphalt, and sand throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate Excavators and Dozers to move construction materials

• Handle dirt, asphalt, and sand throughout the facility

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment

• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience in Construction

• 1+ years of experience operating Bulldozer/Excavator

• Experience with hand and power tools

• Ability to speak English and Spanish

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Backhoe and Skid Steer

• Ability to work in a team

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail

Work Environment

You will work at various plants, including two locations in Richmond, VA, and one in Ashland, VA. The shift is Monday to Friday from 7am to 5pm, and Saturdays from 7am to 12pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
